Dormitory (Choenan Campus)
Opened in 1992, Sangmyung University's Cheonan Campus Chungrokjae, is a triple occupancy female-only dormitory housing up to 100 students.
Cheonan Campus's second residence, Sangrokhaksa, is for male students, and was built in 2002. With 97 double occupancy rooms, it accommodates up to 194 residents.
Shared facilities include : a study room, a computer room, an ironing room, a TV room, a rest area, a laundry room, a convenience store, an exercise room, a public telephone, and vending machines.
Individual facilities within each room include: a desk, bookshelves, a clothes chest, a single bed, a telephone, a LAN plug, and a fan.
The cost of housing is approximately USD 400 per semester.
Off-Campus Housing (Seoul and Choenan Campus)
We have three buildings near the university. By approval of International Relations Office, the international students can reside from one semester to two semester.

There are many households that provide lodging and boarding for students in the Honji-dong area where Sangmyung University is located. One-room studios let students to live and cook meals by themselves. Boarding houses, (hasuk), are single or double rooms, usually without furniture except desks; Korean meals are served twice a day; bathrooms are shared; refrigerators and hot/cold water dispensers are usually available. Prices vary from USD 400 to 600 per month.
