Degree Requirements
140 credits are required to obtain an undergraduate degree
Liberal Arts (required courses)
- Seoul Campus
I. 「Reading & Discussion」「English Conversation & Reading」are required courses for all students.
II.   Students who belong to the College of Humanities & Social Sciences, the College of Education, the Division of Human Environmental Sciences, and the College of Arts & Physical Education must complete 「Life & Ethics of the Information Era」.
III.「Mathematics & Civilization」is required for students who belong to the Division of Business Administration, the Department of Mathematics Education, and the College of Natural Science.
- Cheonan Campus
I. 「Reading & Discussion」「English Conversation & Reading」are required for all students.
II. 「Life & Ethics of Information Era」is required for students who belong to the College of Language & Literature, the College of Design, the College of Arts, and the College of Industry.
III. 「Mathematics & Civilization」is required for students who belong to the College of Engineering.
Liberal Arts (optional courses)
- Seoul Campus
15 credits must be selected from at least 5 (out of 6) different tracks
- Cheonan Campus
21 credits with 15 core credits must be selected from at least 5 (out of 6) different tracks
Core and Concentration Courses
- Students with a single major must complete 60 core and concentration courses.
- Students with multiple majors should refer to the degree requirement chart to determine the number of core and concentration courses they are required to take.
- Students pursuing multiple majors within the same college or department are exempted from taking core courses.
Students should check with their respective departments and divisions to determine if they are subject to any special departmental or divisional course requirements.
